This all-day workshop is a hands-on introduction to building a mobile and desktop ready website using the free, open-source content management system Drupal.
Who Should Attend:
This training provides a hands-on introduction to Drupal. It's perfect for anyone who needs a crash-course in Drupal, including:
- Decision Makers evaluating whether Drupal is the right fit for their project or organization.
- Web Project Managers that will be, or are currently managing Drupal projects.
- Web Developers or Designers getting started with Drupal
What You Will Learn:
To start, we will introduce Drupal and content management systems and answer questions like "What can Drupal do?", "Why choose Drupal?", as well as general concepts of online content management.
We'll also provide coffee/tea and lunch at the event. You will need to bring a laptop the day of the event.
Stein Setvik - As a Technical Architect for Forum One Communications, Stein finds technical solutions for important organizations like, the Aspen Institute and the Gates Foundation. He is an active member of the Drupal community, presenting and attending at previous DrupalCons and contributing to several modules.
Andrew Morton - As a Developer for Forum One Communications, Andrew works to build and keep client websites running. In the Drupal community Andrew attends Drupal camps and summits and is organizing the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit.
